Our Team

Jesus spoke to them, saying…

“All authority in heaven and on the earth has been given to Me. Therefore having gone, disciple all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things, whatever I commanded you. And behold, I am with you all the days, until the completion of the age.” (emphasis added)

– Matthew 28:19-20, The Berean Literal Bible

Our Mission

Create events that plug-in Christian men with each other and local churches

Every Man Arizona men’s events hope:

  1. To have fun while renewing faith. Show the Christian male role model.
  2. To have fun while training men in discipleship. Use peer relationships to mentor Christlikeness.
  3. To have fun while engaging men to lead.  Plug-in Christlike leaders with local congregations

Steve Francis

Pastor Steve Francis is the Senior Pastor at Mountaintop Christian Fellowship. Steve is married to Sue.  Together, they minister to the body of Christ at Mountaintop. Steve has a varied background.  He served in law enforcement for nearly 28 years before retiring to step into the ministry full-time. He has served as a men’s pastor and associate pastor, before taking the senior pastor position at Mountaintop.

Because of his earlier position as men’s pastor, he believes in the importance of drawing men deeper into relationship with Jesus so that they may better lead their families.

A primary goal of each Every Man Arizona event is to challenge Christian men to have a deeper walk with Jesus.

Jack Goeser

Before launching a real estate career in California, Jack provided marketing/sales management to several large corporations .  In 2003, Jack moved his family to Prescott where he began working with West USA Real Estate.  Jack has been honored to receive two prestigious company awards: Circle of Excellence and Presidents Circle Award.

In recent years, Jack has devoted more time to family, community and church ministry. Jack has served as a Deacon and Elder in his home church.  Interest in men’s ministry grew after attending a Promise Keepers men’s conference and studying under Ed Coles Men’s ministry.  This influence caused him to re-focus efforts on “fathering” three great sons. One son is CEO/Founder of Hope Ventures.  Another son is a hospice minister.  The youngest son is a real estate investor. Originally as Father/Son, but now as life long friends, they enjoy fishing trips together.

A goal Every Man Arizona is to inspire men to identify and develop “male character”.  Men’s character should be refined and mature through life events and stages.  Every Man Arizona can be a channel for men to interact with other men to mature their faith, serve in their community and grow to be a Christlike model in their family.

John Hanson

John Hanson has been involved with Every Man Arizona and served on the Board since its inception. John is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and currently serves as ERAU’s Director of Financial Aid and Veterans Affairs. He has over two decades of business and finance experience. He is a Navy Submarine Veteran.  He served in the Gulf War. He and his wife Kelly have been married for 22 years and have been blessed by God with four children ages 21 to 10. The Hansons attend Prescott Christian Church.

Ministries, like Every Man Arizona, are crucial for men in today’s society.  Today, men are under constant attack. They are being marginalized, forced to give up or limit their masculinity and question who they are. Young men and boys are being indoctrinated and limited early on in their lives. Many men have compromised and are not living up to the standard that God expects. Our world needs strong, godly men who will stand and fight for what is right and true.

Every Man Arizona is an avenue to bring men closer to who they need to be, who they can be and who they should be.

Tom Stears

Tom Stears graduated from The Creighton University.  After college, he served as an Ensign in the US Navy.  Tom became a pilot.  During his career, he flew for both Western Airlines and later for Delta Airlines.  He and his wife, Barbara, have three adult children.  The family are avid Nebraska Cornhusker and Arizona Cardinal Football fans.

Tom has a heart for Men’s Ministry.  He is a founding member of American Lutheran Church’s men’s discipleship program called, “Crossfire”.  He is a regular at the 5:45am breakfast and a popular table leader.  Tom was also one of several leaders who felt called to to start the Every Man Arizona Men’s Ministry.  He and other leaders worked to create its premier event, “The Get Real Men’s Expo”.  Tom is a faithful member of the Men’s Expo Prayer Team.

Each Every Man Arizona event should call men to a deeper knowledge of their faith through discipleship and Bible study.  Christlike character is a call to faithful leadership at home with family, at work with colleagues and at play with friends.
